Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)

A multi-disciplinary team treats all patients diagnosed with breast cancer. There is a large body of evidence demonstrating that outcomes in breast cancer treatment are superior when a multidisciplinary approach is used. This team includes a Surgeons, Oncologists, Pathologists, Radiologists, Breast Care Nurses and Radiographers all of whom specialize in breast cancer. The multidisciplinary team is also involved in the diagnosis of all patients that have non-malignant biopsies as well as those in high risk groups.

The facilities for outpatient and in-patient chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which are among the best in the country, are based on site at 81 Harley Street and LOC at 95 Harley Street.
